As part of its ambition to decarbonise air mobility, H3 Dynamics is looking for a Fuel Cell Mechanical Engineer to

support the development of the next generation of aerospace fuel cell systems.

About the Role

  • Lead the continuous improvement of endplates and fuel cell stack assembly by selecting newly-developed

  • advanced materials and exchanging with the suppliers .

  • Supervise the development of aerocompatible mechanical components integrated around fuel cell systems.

  • Design specialized tooling and fixtures to optimize the fuel cell assembly process.

  • Perform advanced mechanical studies, including structural analysis and feasibility assessments.

  • Participate in fuel cell system test campaigns by supporting test protocols, test execution, and data analysis

  • for design validation and iteration.

  • Create precise 2D technical drawings and 3D models for the engineering & production team.

  • Support manufacturing preparation and process planning for fuel cell production.

  • Design and develop integrated hydrogen-electric systems for a variety of applications, ranging from mobility

  • (heavy-duty/light vehicles) to stationary power solutions.

  • Support the company in the development of the technical strategy roadmap regarding fuel cell systems.

  • Support IP development and technical documentation.

Your Profile

  • MSc or PhD in Mechanical, Material or Aerospace Engineering.

  • 2-3 years experience in mechanical design, preferably with experience on fuel cell stacks and systems.

  • Strong experience with CAO softwares, and FEA/FEM simulations tools and methods.

  • Prior experience in fuel cell stack mechanical design would be appreciated.

  • Familiarity with composite materials and their manufacturing processes is a significant plus.

  • Hands-on experience with additive manufacturing (3D printing) and rapid prototyping.

  • Ability to thrive in a fast paced environment bringing innovative solutions.

  • Strong team spirit with great communication skills across technical and non technical audiences.

  • High level of written and spoken English mandatory. French and other languages would be a bonus.
