As part of its ambition to decarbonise air mobility, H3 Dynamics is looking for a System Safety and Operability Engineer to ensure the safety, reliability, and maintainability for current and future fuel cell developments.
About the Role
Lead the definition of safety plans to support the development of fuel cell systems for airborne and ground-based platforms throughout the entire product life cycle and in line with aerospace standards and certification requirements .
Develop safety assessments (FHA, PSSA, SSA) for fuel cell systems, in particular for the electrical and control aspects, and define the subsequent allocation safety requirements and objectives.
Assess the safety, reliability and maintainability of fuel cell system components by conducting analysis techniques such as RBD, FME(C)A, FTA, and MTBF predictions.
Specify testing strategies, means and scenarios, in addition to data collection plans to characterise the reliability of our fuel cell systems.
Conduct operability analyses to assess the system's ability to perform its intended functions under various operating conditions.
Define system life limitations and component maintenance intervals.
Work with the simulation team to develop predictive maintenance models.
Your Profile
Engineering degree, Master of Science or Advanced Master in Aerospace or Electrical Engineering or similar.
Minimum experience in the aviation sector of between 5-10 years with a significant focus of system safety, reliability or operability.
Familiar with ARP 4754, ARP 4761, FIDES and other aerospace safety and reliability standards.
Confident with safety assessment and RAM analysis techniques.
Experience with electrical systems and avionics components is preferred.
Prior knowledge of hydrogen technologies is desirable.
Highly motivated and autonomous profile, with strong communications analytical and critical thinking skills, and willing to propose own ideas.
High level of written and spoken English mandatory. French or other languages would be a bonus.
