H3D was selected based on its potential to address key social and environmental issues. Starting with hydrogen powered drones, for commercial and industrial purposes.

H3 Dynamics has been selected to join 13 other groundbreaking growth-stage ventures as part of the 2022 Unreasonable Impact UK & Europe programme.

As the impacts of the global pandemic continue to be felt, the need to support companies that address these and other pressing challenges – such as powering next-generation mobility, enabling access to clean energy, and innovating the future of our green economy – remains critical.

Unreasonable Impact is a long-standing partnership between Barclays and Unreasonable that helps scale high-growth ventures addressing key challenges with the aim of strengthening the global workforce, reaching new markets, and moving the green economy forward.

Following a rigorous selection process involving hundreds of pioneering companies, H3 Dynamics’ Founder and CEO, Taras Wankewycz, has been selected to join 13 other leading entrepreneurs on the Unreasonable Impact UK & Europe programme, which aims to accelerate the growth of their companies. Each venture was selected based on its potential to address key social and environmental issues, and to create at least 500 jobs within the next five years. The programme will connect the entrepreneurs to an exceptional, international network of experienced specialists and mentors.

H3 Dynamics has taken a global, safety-driven and financially sustainable approach to decarbonising aviation, starting with small autonomous drone services, moving to larger unmanned cargo aicraft, and ultimately full-scale, manned passenger flights. Alisdair Gayne, Head of UK Investment Banking at Barclays, said, “We’re excited to welcome the latest cohort of ventures onto the Unreasonable Impact programme, as they tackle some of the greatest challenges facing our planet today. We look forward to partnering with these entrepreneurs – connecting them with a global community of mentors and bringing the best of Barclays – as we join them at a pivotal stage on their growth journey and support them to scale.”

Daniel Epstein, Founder and CEO of Unreasonable added, “Unreasonable Impact was co-created with Barclays with a shared intention to help entrepreneurs take their businesses to the next level. We firmly believe that the most valuable, influential and lasting companies are those solving humanity’s most pressing challenges, and we're incredibly grateful and privileged to support these ventures and Fellows, and welcome them into our global community."
